Population and the Planet

With over 7 billion people now living on our planet, debates about population are back on the international agenda. However, holding pro-life views in this area is increasingly seen as unrealistic or even dangerous.

This booklet explains basic terms used in this field; and, through a clear analysis of the history of the debate, as well as looking at Catholic teaching, sets out a reasoned response to the common population questions regarding energy, space, food and other resources.
