My Vocation is Love: St. Therese's Way to Total Trust
Saint Thérèse of Lisieux discovered the power of God's faithful love in the midst of her own littleness. As she abandoned herself more and more to Jesus Christ, she experienced the healing awareness of being loved by an infinitely merciful Lord. Like Thérèse, we are limited and sometimes overcome by fear. By following her way of total trust, we too will experience God's love and be able to cry out, "My vocation is love!"
"Not just another book on the beloved saint from Lisieux, My Vocation Is Love offers a captivating glance into the profound depth of St. Thérèse's spiritual doctrine. This refreshing, pentrating analysis shatters the all-too-common, sugary-sweet stereotypes of the youngest doctor of the Church. With clarity and conviction, Jean Lafrance leads us on a journey into the heart of 'The Little Flower' that ultimately leads us to the heart of Christ himself."
- Gina Loehr, Author of The Four Teresas
"Lafrance has done a masterful job of elucidating the central principles of St. Thérèse's spirituality: childlike confidence in God's mercy, humility, and abandonment to God's will. His presentation of the development of Thérèse's 'Little Way' is conveyed with both clarity and insight through a judicious selection of quotes from her writings. My Vocation Is Love is a book that will enlighten and enrich all who read it."
