A biography of Archbishop Clune, fourth bishop of Perth and its first archbishop.  Clune was born in Ireland, was ordained there and  came to New South Wales to work as a priest.  He later joined the Redemptorists and became a well-known preacher and missionary.  After having worked in New South Wales and New Zealand, he went to Perth, where he later became bishop.  In a situation of sectarianism, he contributed much to promoting unity in Western Australia.  He was also involved in negotiations between England and Ireland during the period of conflict in relation to Home Rule in Ireland.
