Above all she was capable of being swept away by her passionate nature and devotion to the Heart of Jesus.
Gertrude’s unique and personal relationship with Jesus which she expresses in prayer in her spiritual Exercises is the focus of the first part of this book. In the second part, the author converses with Gertrude about each of her seven spiritual Exercises.
