Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Ordinary Time are the seasons of the Liturgical year and of the spiritual life itself that make up the "moments" reflected on in this volume by five American diocesan priests who are living and working in Rome for the Holy See. They offer their thoughtful meditations for the profit of all the faithful, but most especially for their brother priests and those who may be aspiring to the priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church. This little book took shape in Rome on the morning of Sunday, April 20, 2008, the day on which Pope Benedict XVI visited "Ground Zero" in Manhattan and celebrated Mass at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx where he gave paternal encouragement and challenge to the Church in the United States. It is dedicated to him in thanksgiving for his historical visit and the inspiration it provided.
